St.Helens Mind has an allotment at the Hard Lane Allotment Site. This will provide a great opportunity for getting fresh air, enjoying some exercise, socialising and growing great fresh herbs, fruit and veg! We aim to hold activities and events there throughout the year.

Allotment Open Day - July 2011

The Allotment Official Open Day in July 2011, saw the volunteers and those who enjoy spending time at the allotment, celebrating the fantastic results of their very hard work. Despite the heavy rain the event was very well attended and everyone had a great time!

Refreshments and a grand cake topped off a lovely day and despite the rain many people came along to share the celebration. Produce from the allotment was on sale and the Town's Mayor, Councillor Tom Hargreaves officially opened the new look allotment and enjoyed chats with many of the visitors and the St.Helens Mind team. Watch this space, many more photos to follow!
