Groups

St.Helens Mind supports several Groups in St.Helens. Referrals for people to join the Groups are necessary and referrals forms are available from St.Helens Mind.

The Groups aim to support people who have experienced mental health difficulties and who would benefit from the social support the groups provide. You will find a warm wlecome in a safe environment with access to the Mind Team and the people we work in partnership with.

The Mens Group is the more structured of our Groups with opportunities to take part in quizzes, discussions, film mornings and other activities. Other Groups provide an environment for user led activities in an informal setting.

The Ladies Group is held monthly. ti has no permanent base but meets at mutually agreed places and times to undertake an activity. This could be a walk and a museum visit, a walk and a pub/cafe lunch or any other active pursuit the group agrees on.

To find out more about the Ladies Group and how to be referred to it, please contact Esther at St.Helens Mind on 01744 777058 or email esther.sthelensmind@yahoo.com
