Heath Park Lodge
St.Helens Mind is based at Heath Park Lodge in Thatto Heath. The building is a St.Helens Council Resource, with organisations who work within the mental health field, to help adults with mental health difficulties to have the same opportunities for social participation and access to services as anyone else.
The Teams based at Heath Park Lodge are: the Social Inclusion Team, Making Space, St.Helens Mind, jobcentre Plus and The Coalition of Disabled People.
The building is used as offices for the Partners, training, counselling, meetings, workshops, events and awareness raising activities.
St.Helens Mind has just been nominated, along with the other partners at Heath Park Lodge, for a Community Partnerships Award. We will know on February 4th 2010 if we have won our catergory (Best Social Care Partnership). The managers went to London last month to take the following presentation.
