Today was lively at the allotment with the guys from BAM Construction starting their work on transforming the site and the and the 2 ladies from Call Credit weeding the very overgrown beds. all in the name of volunteering and working for companies who encourage community action from the employees. here are the 'Before' photos. Whey hey! The shed is in place, the tools are on their way and the garden is ready to go at the Mansion House Garden. Anyone already attending our social groups on Monday, Tuesday or Friday can pop into the garden for a potter. We will send out details of other times you can go along when we have them, maybe a day of gardening can be arranged in the near future to get us all back into the swing of it. what do you think? Big thanks to St.Helens Tri Club
It was great to meet up with some members of St.Helens Tri Club this week. We would like to extend a massive thank you to Eddie Hirst and his team mates for raising £285 at their first fund raising evening in aid of St.Helens Mind. This will go a long way to helping us to support local people who are experiencing mental health difficulties.
