Prescot Walkers - Stepping up to support St.Helens Mind
2018 was the year that Prescot Walking Group chose St.Helens Mind as their charity to raise funds for during their sponsored walk weekend.
Raising a huge £3,500 during their Sponsored Relay Walk, which took a whole weekend and covered around 100 miles, they have proved how dedicated they are to the causes they support.
The St.Helens Mind Team were astounded at the amount raised and welcomed the walkers after their trek for hospitality at the Ring cowbells Pub at Burscough.
The cheque presentation was held at The Gerard Arms, St.Helens where some of the team joined the Prescot Walkers to say a huge 'Thank you'.
Gill Ellison, St.Helens Mind Manager said: "We cannot thank this lovely, enthusiastic group enough for their effort and generosity. It has been a pleasure meeting them and we promise that every penny will be well spent.
